I’ve loved dogs since a young age and immediately became fascinated with the way that they learned as well as the respect and loyalty that they portrayed to their owners. My passion for dogs, and more specifically training them, became much more clear after working with the military working dogs in the United States Air Force. Following this, I eventually got a dog of my own and it was at this time that I knew connecting dogs with people was my passion!

Through positive training, I was able to watch my personal relationship and bond grow with Jax, my German Shepherd. Seeing our hard work and dedication to training pay off motivated me to want to help others with training their dogs. I strongly believe that positive training yields positive results and I’m excited to meet and train with you and your best friend!

At Castillo's K9, we believe that every dog is capable of being a great dog! We stand by a positive training experience without punishment. We teach individuals to communicate with their dogs through rewards and positive reinforcement. Behavior that's rewarded, is repeated. 

We offer Private Training sessions that are individualized and specifically tailored to your dog and your goals/lifestyle. We do NOT believe dog training is a "one size fits all" and therefore we do not sell training packages. Instead, we offer a pay as you go option where you only pay for the session upon its completion, never upfront!
